Open Position: Credit Manager

Creative Stage Lighting Co., Inc. is a leading manufacturer, wholesale supplier, and distributor of a broad range of products for the stage and theatrical lighting industry. We have an extensive dealer network throughout North America and internationally. We also provide rental and production services with our extensive inventory of state-of-the-art equipment.

We are looking for a Credit Manager to help us maintain the highest level of customer service. This is a full-time position.

Creative Stage Lighting headquarters is located in North Creek, New York. It is a hard working, yet casual and family friendly atmosphere. Remote access work available.

Responsibilities

• Controlling bad debt exposure and expenses, through the direct management of credit terms.
• Maintaining strong cash flows through efficient collections.
• Monitoring the Accounts Receivable portfolio for trends and warning signs.
• Collection and allocation of customer payments.
• Collaborate with sales team regarding the establishment of credit terms to maximize sales opportunities.
• Initiate billing, collection and reporting activities.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable customer master files.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries and process adjustments and refunds.
• Communicating with customers via phone, email, mail or personally.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience in business credit and collections.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with computerized billing systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision making skills.
